28 Jul Nominations for 2024 Board Positions
We are now accepting nominations for the following positions in 2024:
- President Elect, (this is a three year commitment; Pres-Elect, President, Past-President)
- Secretary, (this is a two year term)
- Regional Director, (one year term, voted on by the RC’s)
Additionally, if you know of an RC that is interested in a leadership role for AAEVT, please make a nomination! If you are personally interested in becoming an RC, please contact our Regional Director, Jlynn Meyer at jmeyer@aaevt.org.
If you are wondering how this all works:
The AAEVT works together with the current Board members and Executive Team to select candidates for open board positions. The selection comes from our RC’s whom we have worked with over the course of one year minimally, to ensure the right position for the right person is filled. Luckily we have an extraordinary group both on our Board and in our RC pool, so the selection is rich.
We then reach out to our members, advise them of the positions open for the upcoming year. If there is a RC candidate that our members feel strongly about for a position to the board, they can then nominate that RC for said position.
The Regional Director position is voted on by the RC’s by the same criteria and nomination selection. This is a one year term.
