24 Mar Mourning the Loss of Two Wonderful Veterinarians
Mourning two of our own: Drs. Kathleen Lennon and Meg Mullin
Dr. Kathleen Lennon, who founded Lennon Equine Services in New Albany, Ohio, in September 2022, after six years as an associate with Pony Express Veterinary Hospital in Xenia, died March 13 at the age of 33. She was an accomplished veterinarian and equestrian, earning multiple championships at the All American Quarter Horse Congress since the age of 13.
Dr. Margaret “Meg” Mullin, sports medicine clinician at B.W. Furlong & Associates in Oldwick, N.J., since 1998, passed away at age 62. During her career, Dr. Mullin served as the U.S. Equestrian Team Veterinarian in dressage, show jumping and at the world championships in driving and vaulting. She recently completed a three-year term on the AAEP’s Scientific Review & Editorial Committee.
