31 May Tech Tip, Straining Mare’s Milk
| Tech Tip: Need to strain the mare’s milk prior to feeding the foal? No cheese cloth insight? A few gauze pads rubber banded over the mouth of an empty, rinsed, 1L dump saline bottle will do the trick. Simply place a funnel snuggly up against the gauze and poor slowly. When complete, screw the cap back on and keep unused portion in the fridge for the next feeding. Done and Done. Thank you Kimmie Burton, LVT. |
