Dr. Emerson received her DVM from Ontario Veterinary College at University of Guelph in 2005. She was responsible for the installation of the first Hallmarq Equine standing MRI unit in the Pacific Northwest region. Additionally, she was also responsible for the training of users and the integration of the unit into the diagnostic process. Following her love of diagnostic imaging, she completed a diagnostic imaging fellowship at the University of Calgary in 2012. Between 2013 and 2017, she completed a combined Masters of Science degree (Radiological Health Sciences) and Diagnostic Imaging Residency at Colorado State University, receiving diplomate status in 2017.

Dr. Diane Isbell, DVM, graduated from UC Davis. For over 25 years she has enjoyed Equine Sports Medicine practice. Her interest in ultrasound began before vet school when machines in the early stages where used on the breeding and training farms where she worked. Dr. Isbell assists in teaching ultrasound across the country instructing with gifted ultrasonographers such as Dr. Gillis and Dr. Philippe Benoit from France. She has authored “Ultrasound Imaging of the Suspensory Ligament – A Practical Reference Guide” and co-authored “Ultrasound Imaging of the Foot – A Practical Reference Guide.” She also consults for VetImaging, an ultrasound sales and education company.

Joni attended Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas, graduating in 1978 as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Following graduation, she joined Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in the radiology section of the department of Large Animal Medicine and Surgery and taught students for 26 years! the art of equine radiographic imaging and providing high quality radiographs of patients admitted to the large animal clinic of Texas A&M’s veterinary medical teaching hospital. Since 2017, she has been employed by MinXray Inc. as a lecturer and laboratory instructor for radiation safety and imaging techniques as well as sales consultant. She has presented numerous lectures on radiographic imaging at the local, state, and national level.

Angela is a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) and has worked for Animal Imaging since 2013 monitoring anesthesia on all the patients we see that require it. She graduated from Cedar Valley College in 2010 and honed her skills in emergency hospitals before coming to AI. Angela has two dogs, Gio and Grace, and two frisky felines named Aphrodite and Spookie. She has a passion for horses and all that is country and is in the process of building the farm of her dreams. Angela LOVES the outdoors, going outside every chance she gets.
