08 Dec AAEVT/AAEP Virtual Convention 2020: FAQ’s & Navigation Tools
We hope that everyone has had the chance to register and attend some of the sessions offered. We are excited to hear your feedback, so please be sure to fill out the comment section once you have completed watching!
Remember that AAEVT/AAEP Registration closes December 30, 2020, but once you are registered you may continue to view ALL on-demand recorded video lectures through June 30, 2021.
Your AAEVT Board has put together some “helpful hints” on how to navigate through the online platform (Digitell), we hope that you will find them useful:
How to Register:
To register click here, REGISTER NOW (digitellinc.com), this will bring you to the AAEP home page. The AAEP has uploaded our AAEVT members into their Digitell system already, so you will need to login with your Digitell Account, even though you have not created an account yet.
Fill in your email address and click, “forgotten password”, an email will be sent to you to reset your password, once that is completed you will be redirected to the AAEP homepage. When back on the homepage, scroll down to the bottom of the page and in the Tab section on the left, you will see “AAEVT Registration”. Click on that Tab and you will be able to pay for your registration there. Once you have paid, you will receive a confirmation of payment and again be redirected to the AAEP home page where you can now navigate through the virtual conference.
When you return to the conference in the future you will merely have to be sure you are logged in, which if you are on the same device as the one you registered with, it should log you on automatically. If you are on a different device than what you registered on, you will need to select the login button located at the top of the page, follow the instructions there and return to the home page to navigate through the conference.
How To View AAEVT sessions:
From the AAEP Event Home Page, login (top right) and then click on the “On Demand Sessions” from left-hand menu, scroll to the filter bar located just below the AAEP Banner at the top of your screen. Scroll to the far top right and select the drop down menu under “Filter by Track,” select “AAEVT” and hit the filter button. You will then see all the AAEVT sessions listed below and you may select the session you want by clicking on the “View Archive” button.
The “View Archive” button will launch the lecture video.
Once you have completed watching the session, you may select to leave a comment (for AAEVT and/or the presenter you just viewed). There is also a bookmark and notes section and the Proceedings are located there as well.
How to Receive Continuing Education Credits:
To receive CE Credit for the session you just viewed, you will need to go back to the AAEP Event Homepage, select “Evaluation & Exams” from the left-hand menu. All of the lectures you have viewed will be listed here. Select the session you would like to receive CE credit for and select “Take Evaluation.” This will launch Quiz section for that session, which contains five (5) Post-Session Evaluation questions and then five (5) Post-Session Exam questions.
Answer the questions and click Submit (bottom right of the Quiz window). If you have a passing score (70% or higher!) you will see a button “Print Certificate.” You may re-take the exam if you don’t pass it the first time.
Note: Your CE Certificates will be archived on your “My Account” page –> “CE Certificates.” They will all be viewable and printable from there as well.
How to View AAEP Sessions, Trade Show, Live Events:
For any AAEP sessions you would like to view, return to the AAEP Event Home Page and scroll to the filter section again. Select the drop down menu and choose the topic you are interested in. All other convention resources can be found from the left-hand menu:
- For the featured presentations during Convention Prime Time, as well as Table Topics, click on “Live Sessions”
- “On Demand” is where you will find the more than 100 presentations available for viewing at your convenience
- Trade Show, Social Events and helpful information for the Virtual Convention & Trade Show
- TableTopics; Beginning Dec. 1, two Table Topics will take place live each day using the Zoom platform. You will be asked to preregister for the Table Topics you wish to attend. The schedule of Table Topics along with the registration links can be found in the “Live Sessions“ tab on the Event Home Page.
Helpful Hints:
Before viewing any of the sessions, run a system check on your device to ensure a smooth event experience. You can do this by going to the AAEP home page and on the left side of the screen scroll down to the system check tab.
