Dr. Meg Green is an award-winning veterinarian and business strategist. She has a diverse background and consistent record of accomplishments in both clinical practice, as well as, in the Animal Health Industry. Being an Equine Veterinarian, Dr. Green is used to working in a fast paced environment where there is high risk & high reward, and inconsistent execution can lead to catastrophic results if one is not properly prepared. The same challenges hold true in business: the dynamic change in the marketplace, the evolution of meeting both internal and external customer needs and expectations; and if you do not adapt quickly, it can put your business at risk.

John Hubbell

Dr. John Hubbell is the Chief of Anesthesiology at the Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, and holds the title Professor Emeritus of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at The College of Veterinary Medicine of The Ohio State University.  Dr. Hubbell has been a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia since 1982. Dr. Hubbell is author of numerous articles on veterinary anesthesia and coauthor of two textbooks: Handbook of Veterinary Anesthesia and Equine Anesthesia Monitoring and Emergency Therapy. Dr. Hubbell is an active member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners and speaks frequently at the annual meeting on topics related to anesthesia.

Margo Macpherson

DVM, MS, PhD, DACT
Professor and the Chief of Service in Reproduction
University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine / Gainesville, FL

Dr. Macpherson is a clinician scientist who has dedicated her professional career to combining both veterinary medicine and research. She is primarily interested in conditions that affect pregnancy, including twin pregnancy and placentitis. Work from her laboratory has helped direct treatment choices for mares with placentitis by providing information about efficacy of commonly used antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory treatments. Dr. Macpherson served on the AAEP’s board of directors from 2011-2014. She also served on the Nominating and Reproduction committees, as Reproduction anchor for the Kester News Hour at the AAEP Annual Convention from 2006-2010, and as the AAEP President for 2018.

AAEVT members are cordially invited to attend the American Association of Equine Veterinary Technicians & Assistants General Members Meeting. The Executive Board will provide a summary of the year’s projects and activities, a financial overview, outline initiatives for 2021, and install the next year’s Board members. Awards for Member of the Year and Regional Contact of the Year will be presented, along with the 2020 Scholarship winners. This is an important opportunity for you to network and stay involved in our Association as we build and grow our community. We hope to see you all there!

Join us for an evening of celebrating our Association! Here’s your chance to network with other members, reconnect with friends, bump into old classmates, get some face-time with your Board members, and just have fun.
