Dear Team: Based on some recent experiences with clients where we cannot meet their expectations in our role as a Veterinary Teaching Hospital, we have elected to add the following to the client consent form:
“Termination of Veterinarian-Client Relationship Policy: Your veterinarian, at his/her discretion and judgement, may discontinue service to a client if the client displays inappropriate or egregious behavior, is noncompliant with treatment recommendations, fails to pay their patient’s invoice, or for a breakdown in the veterinarian/client relationship.”
