Ashley Cashwell from Bristol Veterinary Service is one of two veterinary technicians in the country to receive the Champions of the Cause Award from Boehringer Ingelheim.
The other winner was Lisa Amtower from Rhinebeck Equine Hospital in Rhinebeck, N.Y.
They were recognized during the American Association of Equine Veterinary Technicians annual convention in San Francisco.
