Waller Equine Hospital is located in Waller, TX northwest of Houston. We have small town living with the convenience of the big city within 30 minutes The practice employs 20 staff members including, two equine surgeons, two general practitioners, and 5 Registered Veterinary Technicians. The equine facilities include a 20 stall barn, equine isolation unit, 4 paddocks, and 2 pastures. We currently have on staff 3 Client Coordinators and are looking to add one more to the practice. The Client Cordinator/Receptionist we will employ will be self-motivated, team player, detail oriented, with a willingness to learn new tasks. Responsibilities will include admissions, discharges, and client communication. You must be able or willing to learn how to use a multi line telephone system, email, and work efficiently in the patient software.

· Must have background in equine x-ray, AAVR Radiology Technologist would be a big plus, but not required
· Must be available for travel during the week in U.S. and internationally for installation and training of equine digital radiography equipment – mainly Cannon Flat Plate System.
· Will be sent for 2 week Cannon Flat Plate DR training class
· DR experience not necessary, but helpful.
· Must be available some weekends for trade shows.
· Will be cross trained in CR and small animal applications using DR, CR and CCD.
· Will be trained to do equipment presentations.
· Will need to apply for U.S. Passport, if they don’t possess one.
· Must be somewhat computer savvy .
· Need to have outgoing personality and not be afraid to speak in front of groups of people.

The University of Florida Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) is looking to hire a Large Animal Vet Tech I to assist in the admission and treatment of animals admitted to the Veterinary Medical Center Large Animal Hospital. The individual will provide assistance to the clinical staff, may assist in instructing students in proper clinical technique for supporting primary care and helps to maintain a sanitary and functionally well organized service within the Veterinary Medical Center.
The minimum requirements for this position are graduation from an accredited American Veterinary Medical Association program for veterinary technology and/or met requirements for certification in the state of Florida; OR a high school degree and two years of veterinary work experience. Basic computing skills are required as we maintain patient records electronically. Must possess the physical ability to handle, manipulate and restrain large animals and lift 50 lbs. The successful candidate must possess the ability to maintain effective working relationships with clinicians, coworkers, students and clients. Preference may be given to Certified Vet Techs and individuals with one year of experience in a veterinary medical teaching hospital.
The position is slated to work primarily afterhours (3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. or 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.). The starting pay range is $11.50 to $12.50 per hour with either a second shift 5% or third shift 10% differential. This is a fully benefited position.
